A planner an hour up the AP-7 who knows this stretch of coast: which masía actually has shade in August, where the music gets cut at midnight, and which hotel in Salou will let the party carry on indoors. We plan the whole wedding or just coordinate the day. Reus airport puts your guests twenty minutes from Tarragona. In English, Spanish, Catalan and Russian.
Tell us the date and your idea and a planner will reply within the hour.
Wedding planner on the Costa Dorada: day-of coordination from €1,200, a small wedding from €1,500 and full planning from €3,500. We cover Tarragona, Salou, Cambrils, Torredembarra, Altafulla, El Vendrell and the masías of the Baix Penedès. Venues and suppliers are paid at their own rates, always in writing. Reus airport is twenty minutes from Tarragona with direct flights from the UK and Ireland. We reply the same day.

If you are reading this in English there is a fair chance you already know Salou or Cambrils — as a holiday years ago, or because your family goes. That is this coast's real advantage over the fashionable one to the north, and it is not a small one.
Reus airport is twenty minutes from Tarragona and a base for low-cost flights from the UK and Ireland. For a wedding with thirty guests flying in, the difference between a cheap seat into Reus and a full fare into Girona or Barcelona is not a detail — it decides who comes. Barcelona El Prat is an hour away and has far more routes, so in practice guests split between the two and we plan transfers from both.
The hotels here are built for volume. In Salou and Cambrils you can block twenty rooms for a weekend in June without a six-month negotiation. On the Costa Brava, in June, you cannot.
And the rates are lower. A masía of the same age and the same standard costs noticeably less inland from Tarragona than in the Empordà. The coast is simply less in fashion; the stone is the same century.
One more thing about the work itself. What couples ask us for here is usually not full planning. The venue is already chosen and often the catering too, and what is missing is someone who reads every contract end to end, phones every supplier the week before to confirm the time and the access, builds the timetable hour by hour, and is there from the first delivery van to the last guest. That is day-of coordination, and on this coast it is the most requested job we do. You end up a guest at your own wedding.
We work from Barcelona, an hour up the AP-7, and we mention it because it changes the quote: site visits and the menu tasting carry no travel charge. A planner coming from Madrid or Valencia will bill you for that, and is right to.
Sand, sunset and the sea behind you, at Tarragona, Altafulla or Torredembarra. The most requested format and the one with the most paperwork: occupying a beach is a permit from the town hall, asked for weeks ahead, and in summer the slots run out.
A stone house with a garden, one wedding a day and no neighbours close enough to complain. The best value for 40–150 guests and the place where the music can run late.
When most of your guests fly in and should sleep where they celebrate. It solves the standing problem of this coast: there are no taxis at two in the morning.
Vineyard and barrel room, half an hour inland. Smaller capacities and a setting that needs no decorating, which is where the budget goes back into the food.
Roman walls, narrow streets and terraces looking over the port. For 20–60 guests who want a city and the sea at once without driving out to a finca.
Guests arriving from several countries. We block rooms, arrange transfers from Reus and Barcelona, and plan the two days around the wedding rather than the wedding alone.
Most couples here want the third option. Venues and suppliers are paid at their own rates, always in writing, and our fee is a separate line.
A destination wedding with guests arriving from several countries, two days and transfers from both airports starts at €7,000.
Get a quoteTarragona and its old town, Salou, Cambrils, Torredembarra, Altafulla, El Vendrell and the masías inland in the Baix Penedès.
The old town inside the Roman walls, and the terraces above the port. Works for 20–60 and needs no transport plan, because everyone walks.
The hotels that will block rooms for your guests and let the party continue indoors after the outdoor curfew. The practical choice when half the guest list is flying in.
Houses and small masías let exclusively for a whole day, within sight of the sea. Quieter than Salou and a short drive from Tarragona.
Inland stone houses with gardens, one event a day. The best price per guest on this coast and the freest hand with the music.
Thirty to forty minutes inland. Capacities are smaller and the setting does the decorating for you.
Where the budget goes furthest. Further from the beach, which matters less than couples expect once there is a coach.
We do not publish a list of venues with prices here, and there is a reason. Costa Dorada rates swing hard between low and high season, and a number printed on a web page is out of date within three months. Anyone who shows you a fixed figure for a June Saturday is either quoting November or quoting nothing.
What we do instead: you tell us the date, the number of guests and whatever is already booked. Within a few days you get three venues with the date confirmed, the capacity and the cost in writing — the venue's own rate, not an estimate that climbs later — and the comparison between them: what is included, what is extra, and what time they make you stop the music. If you have already chosen the venue, better: the job is then coordination only and you do not pay for our searching.
Everything is quoted by venue, guests and details: ask for a quote and we send options the same day.

We eloped, just the two of us, in a cove at sunset. Officiant, flowers and photographer. Perfect and with zero stress.

A micro-wedding of 30 people at a country estate. Ceremony, dinner and DJ, all coordinated. Our guests were blown away.

We came to marry in Barcelona from abroad. They handled the permits, the venue and even the family hotel. Unforgettable.
The date, how many of you and how you picture it.
A proposal with venue, ceremony and price the same day.
Venue, officiant, décor, dinner and photographer.
You enjoy; we take care of the rest.
We are an event agency in Barcelona and we have spent years on this coast, which is a different thing from having a page about it. We know which masía has real shade in August and which one has three young trees, which seafront cuts the music at midnight and which inland house does not care, and which hotel in Salou will move the party inside without charging you twice. We pass on the venue's own rate in writing and keep our fee as a separate line, so you can see what you are paying us for. Site visits and the menu tasting carry no travel charge because we are an hour away. And on the day someone from our team is there in English from the first delivery to the last guest — which is the only part of this that cannot be done over email.
We also work Barcelona, the Costa Brava, Sitges, Castelldefels and the Maresme, and we organise proposals, anniversaries and corporate events.
See wedding planning →1. Beach permits. A ceremony on the sand is not a matter of putting out chairs: it is an occupation of public land, applied for at the town hall, with deadlines that differ by municipality and run out in summer. Weeks ahead, not days.
2. Music curfews. On the seafronts and in residential areas there is a cut-off hour, and it is not the same in Salou as in a masía inland. Worth knowing before you book the band, because it decides whether the party ends at one or at three.
3. Guest transport. There can be twenty minutes of road between the hotel and the venue and no taxi at all at two in the morning. The coach back is booked the same day as the venue, not the week before.
4. A written plan B for wind. On this coast wind is a fact, not a misfortune. The plan B has to be written down: what gets set up, where, who decides and by what hour. Improvising it at six in the evening is expensive and it shows in the photographs.
5. The paperwork, if you live abroad. This is the one that surprises British and Irish couples, so it is worth a few lines of its own.
A civil marriage in Spain is not the straightforward part. The practical guides agree that one of you normally needs to have been a legal resident of Spain for about two years before the wedding, and the file goes through the Registro Civil of the town where that person is registered. Individual registries vary and your nationality changes the list of papers, but for a couple flying in for a long weekend this is, in practice, not the route.
A Catholic ceremony is the exception: it can be legally recognised without the residency condition, but you have to meet the Church's own requirements — baptism and confirmation certificates and the paperwork through your own parish, started months ahead.
So here is what almost everyone actually does, and what we will suggest unless your case is unusual: marry legally at home — a registry appointment that takes twenty minutes — and hold the real ceremony in Spain, symbolic or humanist, with your own words and an officiant. Nothing about the day looks different. It simply is not the document.
We are an event agency, not lawyers. Confirm your own case with the Registro Civil where you would marry, or with your embassy. What we can tell you is what the couples we work with actually did, and we will plan the ceremony either way.
Tell us the date, the number of guests and what is already booked. Within a few days you get three venues with confirmed availability and the cost in writing — and our fee as a separate line.
