Barcelona from the air in ten minutes, or a private route up to the Costa Brava. The whole aircraft for your group when there is a surprise involved, a single seat when you simply want to see the city. We compare operators and give you a firm price with the terms in writing.
Date, how many of you and what you are celebrating — we send routes, available aircraft and a firm price.
You lift off from an airfield near the city and within minutes you are over the coast. Barcelona makes a different kind of sense from the air: the Eixample appears as a perfect grid, the Sagrada Família is unmistakable from above, and the port and the beaches read as one continuous line.
Sightseeing flights are short — ten to twenty-five minutes — and that is genuinely enough for the city. If you want to get somewhere specific, the Costa Brava, Montserrat, the estate where the wedding is, that is a private flight and a different plan.
As with balloons, two quite different products are sold under the same name:
Only your group flies. This is what you need if there is a surprise involved, if you want to change the route, or if you plan to land somewhere specific.
Priced per person, flown with other passengers. Much better value for a city sightseeing loop, and perfectly good for that.
Barcelona to the Costa Brava or Andorra in a fraction of the driving time. Makes sense when the flight is not the occasion but the way to arrive on time.
Routes split by aircraft: up to 3 passengers fly the Robinson R44, up to 5 the Airbus AS355. Real rates, VAT included, from the heliport at Moll Adossat.

Two things before you book: landing at a specific spot — what a proposal needs — requires a survey of the ground and permits, so it has to be requested 15 days ahead (3 to 5 if it is a restaurant or winery they have landed at before). And for safety no decoration, flowers or banners can go on board: we set those up on the ground where you land. Photos of the aircraft types: Robinson R44 — Zalasem1, CC BY 4.0; Airbus AS355 — Bernard Spragg, CC0. These show the model, not the specific aircraft that will fly on the day.
We give you a firm figure the same day. What moves it:
The strongest variable by far. Taking the whole aircraft for two costs considerably more than two seats on a shared flight.
Twelve minutes over the coast and a long run to Montserrat are different products, not the same one with extra time.
A five-seat machine does not cost the same as a three-seat one, even if only two of you fly.
Stopping at a chosen spot means permissions and waiting time, and is charged separately. It is also what a proposal needs.
Sunset is the most requested slot and often carries its own rate.
We can include it or leave you to drive. It changes both the total and how easy the morning feels.
The short loop: port, Barceloneta, the waterfront and back. Ten or twelve minutes, enough to take the picture home.
Adds the inland landmarks — Sagrada Família, the Eixample grid, Montjuïc, the Camp Nou. Around twenty minutes, the usual pick when it is a gift.
Out of the urban area towards the mountain or up the coast. A longer private flight, with the route designed around you.
Departures are from airfields in the province rather than the city centre. We tell you which one, how long it takes to get there and arrange the transfer if you want it.
Send it over with how many of you there are and roughly how much you weigh — operators always ask, and it decides which aircraft flies. We come back with who has that slot, which helicopter it is, the price and the weather terms in writing. Late afternoon is the first thing to go.
Check my date →Anyone can sell you a sightseeing flight. The differences between one offer and another are in the detail, and these are the points we pin down in writing:
A helicopter has far more margin than a balloon: it does not need dead calm and flies most of the year. Thick fog or a storm still grounds it, and that call is made on the day.
Capacity is normally three to five passengers depending on the model, and total weight matters as much as headcount. Operators always ask — it is a safety requirement, not nosiness. Larger groups are handled with consecutive flights.
The best light is late afternoon. If the flight is for photographs or a surprise, it is worth timing it to sunset.
We reply the same day with real routes, the aircraft, a firm price and the weather terms in writing.
