Pre-fit, level, seal, test.
A new toilet is the easy part. The fail points are everywhere else: the rough-in spacing that doesn't match the box, the isolation valve that should have been swapped while the wall was open, the silicone that bridges a gap it can't actually hold. We pre-fit against the connection before we open the box, replace the valves while we're there, and pressure-test before the tiler comes back.

Fresh isolation valves
Old quarter-turn valves seize after 5–10 years. We replace them on every fixture install — €15 of brass that saves a flooding emergency the next time someone cleans behind the toilet.

Hydro-tested at 6 bar
Every supply connection pressure-tested before tile or floor closes the chase. 24-hour pressure log handed over. If a joint weeps, we find it the same day, not when it ruins your downstairs neighbour's ceiling.

Pre-fit + spec check
Spec sheets reviewed against your rough-in. Drain offset, supply size, mounting type confirmed before the box opens. Mismatches caught while the chase is still open.
Set + level
Each fixture set on the template, levelled, fixings marked. WCs floor-anchored, basins wall-bracketed, baths legged and braced. Nothing hangs on silicone alone.
Connect + seal
Fresh isolation valves, fresh flexis, new tap connectors. Silicone bead under sanitary-grade colour-matched. Drain traps installed accessible, not buried.
Hydro-test + handover
6 bar, 24-hour pressure test. Drain run with bucket, slow leak check on every joint. Pressure log, photos, warranty pack delivered with the keys.

Yes. Roca, Grohe, Hansgrohe, Geberit, Duravit, Villeroy, anything with a spec sheet. We pre-fit-check before opening the box. If a Bauhaus shower bar lacks a thermostat cartridge, we tell you to return it before the chase closes.
Common in pre-war Eixample. Drain at 165 mm centres but the new WC needs 180 mm — we adapt with offset connectors or, if the wall is open, reroute the drain. Quoted as a small extra at the survey, not as a surprise on install day.
When you install or replace a hot-water tank, gas tankless heater or heat pump that feeds the fixtures. The fixtures themselves don't need ACS, but the appliance behind them does. We sign the ACS when applicable, included on hot-water-tank lines.
24 months written workmanship on the install — connections, sealing, fixings. Manufacturer warranty on the fixture itself (Roca, Grohe and similar typically 5 years). Hydro-test pressure log in the handover folder.
