What you’ll do in 2, 3 or 4 hours: hen and stag itineraries

2 hours (from €31 per person on a 26-seat catamaran): boarding, sailing along the Barceloneta with the Sagrada Família behind you, a 30-minute swim off the beach, nibbles and cava, back to port. Perfect as an afternoon warm-up before dinner. 3 hours (€43–65 per person): the classic. Adds real party time on board: a cocktail workshop or cocktail pack, more swimming and paddling, and the sunset if you leave at 5–6 pm. 4 hours (€54–81 per person): a morning or afternoon trip with a meal on board — paella, barbecue or tapas — two swim stops (Nova Icària and the coves) and music the whole way; the group steps off the boat already in party mode.

Before and after: most hen and stag dos pair the boat with another plan, and we book it from the same contact — a beach club in the Barceloneta or the Fòrum, a group dinner, a club with entry and a reserved table, or the train to Sitges for the night. Best time of year: May to October for swimming; in April and November the sea is still a great afternoon plan with cava and blankets, and sailboats are 10 % cheaper from November to March. Getting there: Port Olímpic and Port Vell are 10–15 minutes by taxi from any central hotel; Marina Vela is next to the W Hotel.

Why organise the hen or stag do on a boat with an event agency

An operator rents you their boat; we compare five and build the whole day on top: which catamaran allows an open bar, which has a bow net to lie on, what minimum applies on a Saturday in July, and which beach club or restaurant has a table for 20 at ten at night. The boat costs the same as booking direct — the operator pays our commission — and the extras are quoted separately, in writing. We work in English, Spanish and Russian: if part of the group is coming from abroad, everyone gets the same plan in their language.

Per person with the boat full: €36–55 on the sailboat, €31–54 on the 26-seat catamaran and €35–65 on the party boat; Friday to Sunday, 40–50 % more. These are the operators’ 2026 rates, VAT included.

May to October, when the water is warm enough to swim; June and September have the best balance of weather and price. In April and November the boat is still a great afternoon plan with cava, and sailboats are 10 % cheaper from November to March.

Always a professional skipper from the operator, with crew or a hostess on the catamarans. You just step on board; nobody in the group needs a licence.

Yes, weather permitting: the boat anchors off the beach or in a cove for a 30–40 minute stop with paddleboards and snorkel gear. On 4-hour trips, two stops.

Up to 11, a sailboat. 12 to 26, a catamaran. Above 26, a private double-deck party boat for 50 to 126; for groups of 27 to 49 two boats can also sail together.

On the 26-seat catamaran, 10 people Monday to Thursday and 15 Friday to Sunday. Sailboats and the 12-seat catamaran have no minimum: the price is per boat.

Every boat includes a selection (cava, wine, beer, sangría, soft drinks). Most allow an upgrade to an open bar or a cocktail pack (€40 per person); your own drinks depend on the operator and we confirm it with the chosen boat.

A beach club in the Barceloneta or the Fòrum, a group dinner, a club with a reserved table or a night in Sitges. We book it from the same contact so the group has nothing to coordinate.

Port Olímpic and Port Vell are 10–15 minutes by taxi from the centre; Marina Vela is next to the W Hotel. We send the exact meeting point and, for big groups, arrange a minibus.

If wind or sea conditions make it unsafe, the operator moves the date or refunds. If you cancel: free up to 48 hours before on the sailboats (72 if food is booked); on the catamarans, per the terms we send with the price.

Saturdays from June to September sell out 3–4 weeks ahead; weekdays and off-season usually need only a few days.
